There are moments in business when the trajectory of a company changes forever. As a dedicated people-first organisation, it’s no surprise that so many of our defining moments were when certain people joined our team.

We’ve recently had cause to celebrate two of these with more of our amazing team members achieving long service milestones.

Our engineering manager, James Clark joined us in 2010 and is the fourth longest serving member of team UPSPS. He joins the pretty exclusive 15-year club. The newest member of the UPSPS 5-year club is our wonderful company accountant, Jacinta Hepburn who joined us in 2020.

Both James and Jacinta have advanced into multiple new roles through our career development pathway, and both have been pivotal in the growth and success of UPS Power Solutions. It’s a real delight to celebrate their hard work and achievements.

James Clark, Engineering Manager

When James Clark joined us as an eager, fresh-faced young electrician, little did we know that we’d hired a supremely confident and capable young man who would shape the trajectory of our business.

His natural aptitude and dedication to delivering excellence saw a promotion to Senior Engineer before he began adding strings to his bow through involvement in sales and management. James’s hard-working approach and quiet confidence made his appointment as our Engineering Manager an extremely easy decision and he has since been pivotal in shaping the career pathway programme for all of our UPS engineers.

Jacinta Hepburn, Company Accountant

Joining us in 2020 as Finance Administrator on a 15 hour-per-week contract, it became very clear, very quickly that Jacinta Hepburn was absolutely essential to the business and our team.

Her excellent instincts and meticulous focus has enabled us to make confident decisions, one of the best being to appoint her our full-time Company Accountant.

James and Jacinta embody these principles and they have been instrumental in continually shaping and improving our philosophy over the years.
