Whilst small single phase UPS solutions simply plug into a standard mains power supply, larger UPS solutions do require electrical installation and commissioning by registered UPS Engineers.

Protect your warranty - Rest assured that your clean power solution has been properly installed and correctly set up to serve its intended purpose by having UPS Power Solutions Eaton trained Engineers commission the system. Your decision to have UPS Power Solutions (the manufacturer’s service agent) undertake the commissioning of your UPS will protect your equipment warranty and, in some models, even double the manufacturer’s warranty period. We recommend that you ensure that commissioning is included as part of your product purchase.

With the option of either business hours or after hours inspections, preventative maintenance can be done at a time that suits your needs.
The maintenance inspection involves a detailed examination and audit of the equipment, its internal and external condition, the battery, alarm states and interfaces to other equipment. A report on the current condition of the equipment is issued, along with any recommendations. Any corrective or remedial action will be taken after consultation with you.

UPS Power Solutions have in place a 24/7 manned Call Centre which our customers access via our 24 hour toll free number, 0800 UPS POWER (0800 877 769).
This Call Centre will record faults and follows a fault escalation procedure to ensure that the appropriate support personnel are assigned the fault to manage the process associated with the fault through until resolution. |
Access to spare parts
UPS Power Solutions, as an Eaton Power Quality Service Agent has direct access to Eaton’s engineering spares held throughout Australasia.
UPS Power Solutions holds a range of spare parts in both Auckland and Wellington. Our contracted maintenance customer base has access to these spare parts that are ready to be shipped to a customer’s site in the event of an outage, providing minimal disruption whatever the situation.
In addition, UPS Power Solutions holds complete UPS units which are available to be transported to maintenance customer sites in the event of an outage. This provides minimal disruption to the customer whatever the situation. This level of support is unsurpassed in New Zealand.

UPS Power Solutions has large single phase and three phase resistive load banks ready to take off load testing of your UPS and genrators. Load bank testing provides you with a comprehensive test of your clean power system without compromising your site load or operations.

UPS Power Solutions has UPS rental units available from 500VA to 160KVA. We can arrange the delivery, installation and commissioning of the unit and provide you with the confidence of full Engineering support for the duration of the hire. |
To complement the hire of the UPS equipment, UPS Power Solutions offers standby generator sets hire. Ranging in size from 2KVA to 160KVA, we are able to supply the generator and interface it to your power protection system.
We offer both a mid range 44KVA generator and a 150KVA, 3 phase soundproofed generator ideal for continuous power during mains switchboard changeovers, long duration power outages and remote locations power.

Lease to buy options
UPS Power Solutions can assist you with the purchase cost of your UPS equipment on a lease to buy basis whereby the payment is deferred over a set period. This will lower your initial capital purchase and will allow you to spread the cost over a set period of time.
